However right now I'm on a mission to speed up my computer - i've cut down outlook files, removed attachments, compacted, removed screen enhancements etc.  I want to remove the folder background image to see what happens. However when I navigate to the chosen folder (c:), which shows the image in the Background Image window, and then click 'remove Background Image' nothing happens.  I am reluctant to uninstall with an image in place in case it leaves strays in the registry.  What do you think I should do?
