How To Show/Hide Details Pane In Windows 7/Vista Explorer

  1. Open any Explorer window. For instance, Computer.

  2. Select Organize -> Layout.

  3. Uncheck Details pane.

Now the details pane will be hidden. To show it again, just check the option once again.
