How To Add Turn Aero Off Shortcut In Windows 7/Vista Desktop Context Menu

Turn Aero Off

Steps:

  1. Type REGEDIT in start menu search box or run and press Enter.

    2. Run Registry Editor

  2. Navigate to the following registry key:

    3. HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\Background\shell

  3. Right-Click on shell and select New -> Key. Name it Turn Aero Off.


  4. Right-Click on Turn Aero Off and select New -> Key. Name it Command.


  5. In the right-side pane, double-click on (Default).

  6. In the Value Data box, type NET STOP UXSMS.

  7. Click OK.

    8. Now you will get the option in your desktop context menu.
