Windows 7 Taskbar Thumbnail Customizer is a free tiny portable tool that allows you to change your Windows 7 taskbar thumbnail’s size, spacing, margin & delay time with ease.

How to use:

  1. Run the tool as administrator.
  2. Change the options as you like.
  3. Click on Apply Changes. The Windows Explorer will now restart automatically and you will be able to see the new settings which you chose.

If you want to revert to the original settings then just click Restore Defaults.

    I suggest, if possible, to add an option for arranging an application's multiple thumbnails either vertically or horizontally. Normally when the task bar is along the top or bottom of the screen, the thumbnails of a program with multiple windows will display horizontally, but you should be able to choose to show the thumbnails vertically, stacked one on top of the other. Similarly, if you have the task bar along the right or left side of the screen you should be able to show the thumbnails horizontally instead of the default vertical arrangement. Perhaps you can add this option to your utility.

    That would be a bigger pain in the ass. They already get in the way of my mouse when I accidentally hover over them.
