  1. Run the tool.
  2. Click on Hide Blur.

    every program i download here, will not work on my computer!
    when i try to apply somthing or click a button or open a file, a promp appears saying “file not found” or “unable to open UxScm” or “…”. why wont it WORK!?!?! i have windows 7 64-bit (amd processor), any help…

    Kishan, sorry to say, tried it on Win7 32-bit, I'am getting similar error messages as Blogmonkeyh. The theme switches to Win7 Basic. I think the DWM is getting stuck…

    This is a horrible program. I clicked on remove Blur and it disabled Aero theme together. Thankfully theme restarted on next boot. Would not recommend it.

    Superbly useless. Corrupts and disables Aero without fail. Not to mention the horrible tech support: “restart and try again”? Seriously.

    What builds does this work on?! Because I have 32-bit, Windows 7 Ultimate and every time I try to “Remove Blur,” it removes Aero! I fix it by just going to the Control Panel and looking for “Check for problems with Aero” over and over and over again every time I try using it.

    So I have gave up on this. But, I don’t want to lose this chance because it has to work at some point! Because this is the only choice.

    P.S. To fix aero: Click Start, Control Panel, search “Troubleshooting” and click “Find and fix problems with transparency and other visual effects,” and let it detect problems. Your screen will flash, so this is normal in this case.

    Your troubleshooter should then find the problem, and with a black screen, the aero shall pop up once again and your aero interface will be back to normal. (And your computer’s visuals.)
    It’ll most likely say “Desktop Manager Session process wasn’t working properly.”

    Kishan, it makes this program again, places in a new version or removes. He never does not function, nor having access as administrator. Unhappyly, he is very bad.

    I figured out how to get it working! You must start the UxSms service. On my PC it wasn’t running so when I ran this it just removed aero, I read the error and it said that this service wasn’t running so I started and and got aero back, and now this program works! :)

    Can you make hide the blur in all sections including the taskbar, start menu, shell32
    with text color and text shadow color can be changed, can be enable and disable shadow ???

    oh my god
    i press the “hide blur” button and my screen was freezed
    and when i restart my computer ,the desktop just all black
    it only shows me the cursor
    and when i press ctrl+alt+delete it normally show me the page
    what should i do now?
    i am using win7 64bit

    Works great! (it DID disable AERO initially – as some have stated – but it corrected itself)

    Completely destroyed Aero on my Windows7 (X64) Ultimate. Tried everything from previous comments and many other tips from various forums on the net. Even tried your Windows Aero Switcher. I was close to panicking.
    It deletes dwm.wxe and udwm.dll from C:WindowsSystem32. Luckily I found dwm_backup_w7abt.exe and Udwm_backup_w7abt.dll in the same folder – renamed them to previous form and then used Windows Aero Switcher to get my Aero back.
