How To Change The Default Icon Of Any File Type
22nd August 2010 - Customization, Downloads, Windows, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XPDefault Programs Editor is a free portable tool that allows you to change the default icon of any file type in Windows 7, Vista & XP. This feature was built-in in Windows XP but was removed in Windows Vista & 7.
How to use:
- Run the tool.
- Click File Type Settings.
- Click Icon.
- Select the file type of which you want to change the icon and click Next.
- Click Browse.
- Select the icon that you want to display for the file type and click OK.
- Click Save Icon.

Now the default icon of the file type you selected will be changed.
