How To Change Your Logon Screen’s Button & Text Style in Windows 7

- Type REGEDIT in start menu search box or run and press Enter.
- Navigate to the following registry key:
- Right-Click on the right-side pane and select New -> DWORD (32-bit) Value.
- Type ButtonSet as the DWORD’s value name.
- Double-Click on the DWORD value called ButtonSet.
- In the Value Data box, type according to the style you want:
- 0 – Light text shadows & dark buttons (Default)
- 1 – Dark text shadows & light buttons
- 2 – No text shadows & opaque buttons
- Click OK. Now log-off or switch user to see the new button & text style.
